Camp Awana teaches that salvation and forgiveness of sin comes through personal faith and trust in the shed blood, death burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ at the Cross of Calvary 2000 years ago (Romans 3:23 & 6:23; John 3:16; Acts 16:31). We believe that a person cannot get to heaven by performing good works of any kind (Romans 3:28 & 4:5; Titus 3:5).

Salvation depends upon what God has done for people through Jesus Christ and not on what they try to do for God. Camp Awana is committed to developing campers’ Biblical knowledge and encouraging campers in Christian living through daily Bible study, Scripture memorization and music.
